Was staying at hotel and was informed about the fact that the hotel is no smoking, but there were no signs posted anywhere. I was threatened with police action against me if I did not pay a $250.00 fine that I was also unaware of.

It’s great what we did...
Liked: The location was good for what we were there for and had decided that we just stay here as we have stayed here in the past and knew the type of services the hotel provides for us.
Disliked: What we didn’t like was that the fire alarm went off our first night there and the communication to tell us either we leave our room and make our way down to the lobby or stay in the our room for further notice needs to be worked on. But we were glad that it was a false alarm and that the reason for the alarm was that one of the fire exits was trying to entered to the hotel was opened in which set of the alarm. Also the AC control in the room needs to adjusted so temperature of the AC unit can be lowered so it can make the room more cold can be looked at or perhaps changed as we are people who like colder rooms when days are hot out and you come to your room to cool off would be helpful.

Liked: ⭐ Mixed Experience – From Disrespect to RedemptionThe hotel itself is great—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, my experience with one front desk staff member, Mr. JD, was unacceptable. When I asked for help getting a taxi (since I didn’t have the Uber app), he threatened to call the police and have me removed from the property. I was simply trying to find food, as everything nearby had closed early.Thankfully, the following day, another staff member showed true professionalism and kindness. She acknowledged the situation, removed the cost of the food I had purchased, and generously awarded me 2,000 Bonvoy points. Her empathy and understanding completely changed my experience and made me feel valued.If I return to this hotel, it will be because of her. The property is excellent—but Mr. JD’s behavior should never be repeated.
Disliked: My stay at this hotel started off terribly. On the first night, I asked the front desk staff, Mr. JD, to help me get a taxi since I didn’t have the Uber app. Instead of assisting me, he threatened to call the police and have me removed from the property. I was simply trying to get food, as everything nearby had closed early. His behavior was aggressive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
