Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Could have been so much...

Liked: Great location for what we came for
Disliked: Strong sewage smell in the bathroom, mattress on the king size bed absolutely battered, the body prints in the mattress were so deep that there was a firm mattress wall between us ..We scrapped for parking space as the parking is tiny for the size of the hotel. The lift was out of order, a little detail I would love to know before hand as my wife is awaiting a substantial back operation in the coming month so taking the stairs up to the second floor wasn't the best thing.Communication is paramount in any business, none of the above was mentioned on the booking site. Not the best experience, wanted to say something on check out but when the young lady at the reception argued with the people before us about some food apparently ordered in the night which she cancelled without too much resistance. Not sure what to think. Really, have had good feed back from the premier inn.

Comfortable hotel and good location....

Liked: Location for where we were going
Disliked: Waited an hour for lunch after we ordered in the restaurant and then one of the plates of food was burnt. We didn’t have time to wait for anything else. When we got back at night (11.30pm) we asked for 2 bottles of water for our room. We paid for it and were told they would bring it up to the room. After checking twice where the water was and going down to reception after an hour we were told there was no bottled still water and ended up with bottles of lemonade.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

Very unpleasant

Disliked: The standard of the room was poor. One PowerPoint only, very old and dated bathroom with rusty taps and pipes, shower sprayed everywhere, beds were broken and moved around so very dangerous. I stubbed my toe more than once. Some PowerPoints were so old they didn’t even fit a standard socket. Room needs closing down and refurbished. Room service was also disappointing. Nachos were inedible and had to wait ages for wrong items. Not good.

A great nights stay. Thankyou

Liked: A lovely old building, spacious, clean, comfortable and Quiet. Fantastic welcoming complimentary tea tray with, good quality items. Except for the coffee
Disliked: A bit dated in some areas, windows need replaced, coffee in the bedroom was awful. ( please rethink. You have so many other quality items in the room.) coffee really lets it down.

Good hotel, just a few...

Liked: Convenient location, nice hotel, clean and comfortable
Disliked: We had lunch in the restaurant, service was incredibly slow, however appears to be a staffing issue with just one staff member covering food and bar. Also receptionist could have told.us how to get to the room rather than hand over the key and leave us to it.
