Disappointing really, but the wonderful...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and bed was comfortable
Disliked: The bath is dangerous to get in and out of as the glass door is fixed with little room to get out. It took at least 10 minutes to get any hot water through. Floor was very creaky and window ledges were dirty. Also the room was v cold when we first went in which is not very welcoming.

Good

Liked: Beautiful house, well presented.
Disliked: The room was less well presented, bathroom very small with weird springy shower tray!! Decoration a bit shabby in room. No easy chair and a bit dim.

Norfolk stay.

Liked: Really nice building with large rooms and lots of character, the staff who served us both breakfast and dinner were really friendly and gave us lots of information for the area. Food in the bistro was very good.
Disliked: The rooms although large were a bit basic, with lots of empty space.

Excellent venue. Good relaxing break.

Liked: Good relaxing stay. The staff were all excellent. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. We had a meal in the Bistro which was very good. Overall good value for money and a very enjoyable stay.
Disliked: Not very much that we did not like. The hotel is clearly in the latter stages of being fully renovated so still some small details to attend to but in no way did that detract from the stay.

Absolutely lovely!

Liked: Beautiful countryside setting. Lovely old style building. Lovely interior. Excellent staff. A chef with a Michelin star, from a previous restaurant and aiming for one at Caistor Hall too. Lovely breakfast area. Dog friendly. Stunning countryside walks around Caistor and Stoke Holy Cross. Old Roman ruin walks too, behind the church. Ten mins into Norwich City centre.

Fantastic staff and good food...

Liked: Great staff and fantastic food!
Disliked: The property is extremely worn. Paint is literally pealing off the walls, (and both pillars as you come through the front door).
