Cairnview Bed and Breakfast

An excellent place to stay...

Liked: Ian and Heather really take care of you and make sure that your needs are met. Breakfast was excellent, every day I had the omelette with tomatoes and cheese, a great way to start the day. The local Spar is just a few minutes walk away as is the beach, also a playground for little ones is very close as well. And finally the beds, very comfortable, almost didn't want to get up in the morning, but I'd miss breakfast if I didn't. Ian and Heather, staying with them felt like staying with distant family that you only see a few times ever, the care is there and you're welcome back any time.
Disliked: The only bad thing was having to leave.

What a gem! Brilliant value.

Liked: Value for money is off the scale! Best value of our entire trip. 2 double beds in room with plenty of room around them. Great spacious bathroom. Lovely views across to the sea. Very quiet location but extremely well signed for the last mile. Fabulous breakfast - so much choice, including loads of fresh fruit. Heather was a lovely welcoming host, advising us where to find a good meal in a local pub. Absolutely ideal location for taking a ferry onto mainland UK.
Disliked: Only thing was the poor water pressure in the shower. Doubt there is much can be done about it though.

Liked: The location is very quiet. The room was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was roomy and full of everything you could need. Breakfast was from 7am but as we had to catch an 8am ferry a beautiful continental breakfast was provided at 6.30. Friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend
