Liked: Location was excellent walking distance to the esplanade and all shops and bar's excellent restaurants.
Disliked: Everything except the bed. The bed was terrible

Disliked: The cleanliness is really bad. We could see a lot ants on the bench and even in the fridge. Mould bathroom wall & leaking marks on the ceiling & hairs on the bed

Pleasant

Disliked: People were able to smoke at the small tables outside the units, however this made it very uncomfortable for us as we couldn't enjoy this facility because, even if they weren't smoking, the smell was still there in the ashtrays. This smoke also drifted into our room and we had to close the windows with no fresh air. For that reason, we would be unlikely to stay there again.

Liked: Location was great. Room was clean and tidy. Certainly not a posh hotel, but fridge, TV, good size. I was happy with it. Didn't try pool, but wasn't very big.
Disliked: Door didn't seem terribly secure. I wouldn't think it was tricky to get into the room by a determined nasty person. So, security could be beefed up.

Liked: Receptive and helpful management. It is conveniently accessible to the Esplanade, Shopping area and Recreation facilities (including Cairns Aquarium). The quietness of the places is a plus. Either by cab or by foot, most places can be reached with a certain degree of ease. The ease or efficiency of getting booked in as well as checking out is commendable. The cost is also very affordable, relatively. It is good for short-stay holiday makers who are seeking affordable accommodation.
Disliked: I did not take time to find out whether there is a restaurant there. The only thing, I guess, that I did not like is that the ceiling fan needs cleaning - it has accumulated dust over time, though with the air conditioning it was not necessary to use the fan. In fact, I did not use the fan, but the sight of dust was concerning.
