Dirty and does not look...

Liked: We had very limited interaction with staff but when I checked in the girl was nice and helpful
Disliked: The private hostel room was disgusting it does not look at all like how it is advertised. It was dirty the walls were stained and there was dust and dirt all on the floor. The bathrooms were also filthy with no paper or hand dryer to dry your hands just an old rag that was used by everyone. The pool in the hostel was unusable and a health hazard. It looked like it had never been cleaned and had green slime on the tiles. In our 2 nights there nobody had used it. The communal areas were untidy and even location wise it wasn’t great. We’ve backpacked across Australia and Asia and this was by far the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The pictures on booking.com are not a reflection of the hostel’s current condition and they need to be updated.

Very good

Liked: The bed was clean and comfortable with usb ports close by for phone charging. The shared kitchen was also clean and the outdoor shared space was great to hang out in.
Disliked: On the first night, we stayed in a room where the window facing the front was jammed and the blinds wouldn't come down, so privacy wasn't great. The other night (we stayed two seperate nights) the room was perfect.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

abominable

Liked: nothing.
Disliked: The unforgettable welcome with a receptionist sprawled on the couch on his phone, initially thinking it was a client looking to connect. So I waited until someone picked up the phone, and here I was, discovering the person who was supposed to be welcoming his clients. UNBELIEVABLE.Then there was that shared bathroom that gave me chills every time I entered. What disease(s) was I going to catch? Tetanus, skin problems, mold poisoning, and so on.Not to mention the day I had to walk past a real rat to get into that infamous bathroom. A rat, I should point out, was in the kitchen, perhaps preparing the meal, perhaps an employee, or simply infiltrated. And then there was that private room that hadn't been cleaned since it opened, perhaps, where I had to run a marathon to get to the outlet opposite the bed. Finally, thank you for the little insect droppings left in the room, it was a PLEASURE!!!!!
