Disliked: Hotel is dog friendly, and I respect that in the restaurant side, people may not like the thought of a dog where food was being served. We were told we could sit in lobby with dog and have a drink however when we came back from another hotel after getting a meal there with our dog, there was no seats available nor were there any dogs, just people sitting I presume waiting for tables for food, no drinks were on any tables. Also no dogs allowed in bar area, this just doesn’t make business sense. As we spent our money elsewhere. Whilst the hotel was nice and staff lovely I wouldn’t book again for this reason.

Liked: This was a great place to stay in the heart of Aviemore which allowed easy access to all the shops and attractions by walking. Its beautifully decorated in Scottish style with a nice Pub and Restaurant on site. The room we had was small but functioned perfectly for our needs. We ate at the restaurant twice including the free breakfast which was very good with lots of choices and great service! Would not hesitate to stay here again as it felt like traditional Scotland!
