Cairndale Hotel is situated right in the very heart of Dumfries. DG One leisure club is less than a minute's walk away and Odeon cinema and the Theatre Royal can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The hotel offers 91 en suite rooms and suites free car parking and free Wi-Fi wireless internet access. Its leisure facilities include a heated swimming pool a sauna steam room and an air-conditioned gym. Fine dining and an à la carte dinner menu is available in the restaurant every night and all-day service is available until 22:00 in the Forum Cafe Bar. Cairndale also hosts regular weekend entertainment throughout the year including a pianist in the Reivers Restaurant (on selected dates) as well as dinner dances and cabaret nights.

Very good

Disliked: The cost to use the Spa which was not clear at booking. £50 for 2 hours is a lot in my view and I am well off.

Liked: Friendly stafff.Hotel well placed for what I needed to do.

Liked: Nice staff, clean & spacious room & good bathroom facilities. Had a 2 hour spa session-very good! Recommend it! Food & drink in bar restaurant very good. Room fittings a little tired & dated but no complaints at all. Would visit again

Spotlessly clean but very average...

Liked: Spotlessly clean , new bathrooms, excellent showers, lovely reception staff and waiters , location excellent, building frontage lovely. Didn't use the spa but equally didn't feel the vibe or notion too.
Disliked: Dinner served in the bar instead of restaurant- quite bizarre, menu choice very limited, food very average, beds hard, no soundproofing, lift out of use , rooms tiny,
