Great B&B for a short...

Liked: Amazing breakfast with plenty of choices. Clean and spacious room, although bed was a bit hard. Friendly staff and quiet location within 20 minutes walk of the town centre/beach. We would highly recommend Carin House if you are taking a short break in Ilfracombe.
Disliked: We had no issues during our stay.

Good overall, for a short...

Liked: Nice looking building. Comfy bed, nice pillows. Modern decor in room felt tidy and cosy. Decent breakfast. Good base for a weekend which is what we needed. Friendly and welcoming host.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was right next to main entrance to the building and the breakfast dining area so felt we might be disturbed by others in the mornings or that we couldn’t be talking too loud ourselves. Tv a little small for viewing from the bed. The shower also had a fixed shower head so have to use a shower cap to not get hair wet as it couldn’t be adjusted or hand held to avoid that.

Liked: The host was very amenable. Let me have breakfast 10 min early as I had to leave early.
Disliked: The room was quite small but it was what I paid for.

Gem of a B&B

Liked: Friendly host, welcoming all the way through our stay. Was able to get restaurants and local advice. Very clean B&B, great size room, we had a family room. Breakfast and the choice was lovely and generous.Great location of North Devon with Ilfracombe just down the road.
