I would recommend; good value for money.

Liked: Staff lovely; breakfast very enjoyable; room average - all that we needed but decor needs refreshing.
Disliked: The hotel just needs a freshen up.

Excellent location & Value

Liked: Nice old World style hotel with some classic features and nice large car park. Comfortable room good choices of restaurant or bar menu, excellent value for money!

Liked: Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and location is just a short walk from Harrogate town center

Great location

Liked: Easy access to the town, but up a steep hill coming back.
Disliked: Bar closed early when there were few customers. Having to stand and wait on the chef appearing to be served the hot buffet at breakfast.

Cheap and best

Liked: Near to HCC Free parking and nice front door Very old building 150 year plus … so different vibe for stay
Disliked: Check out 11 am … extra hour charges 30 pounds… not good Breakfast having very minimal options for vegetarian

Leeks from above

Liked: Nice room to begin with
Disliked: 11pm a dripping sound occured in the bathroom From above which was a flood from the room above.We contacted reception who moved us to a different room.This disrupted our nights sleep When a asked reception if there was any compensation I was told that it was an accident that could have happened in your own house.I keep my own house in a condition that doesn't have leeks etc.
