Gorgeous Country House

Liked: Fantastic location. Beautiful park setting .Gracious and welcoming staff.Lovely room.Comfortable bed.Great water pressure.Good bar staffing. We liked all the food choices upstairs and down. Exceptional fruit crumble dessert with gingerbread ice cream.
Disliked: Coffee. The nespresso makes a ton of noise so if you're up early there really are no coffee choices, until 8?

Liked: We had a great stay but our room was not located in the main historic building. That was a bit disappointing. Also, the fire alarm went off one morning and woke us all up. The kids even ran out of the building as they were very scared. The breakfast was plentiful. We could not make a reservation for dinner as they were booked.

Liked: Beautiful old house with a welcoming roaring fire in reception. Our bedroom was gorgeous and spacious and the views were outstanding. Breakfast was held in a beautiful dining room. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. I went for a pre breakfast walk in the most amazing countryside. I loved every minute of my stay at Cahernane house.
Disliked: personal preference is for a cooler bedroom.
