Cabrillo Inn at the Beach

Awesome location, beautiful views. Room was clean and got the job done.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Toilet paper roll holder wouldn’t hold the t-paper. A little annoying.

Definitely will be coming back....

Liked: The room was lovely. The location amazing.
Disliked: Would loved to see either a coffee machine in the room, or a coffee/tea bar in the reception area. Due to Covid they closed their eating area, now you have to go to the hotel next door.Signage would be good directing you to the pool area and the restaurant next door. I could not find either until I asked the front desk.

Location is what you have...

Liked: The location was probably the best part. The salt water pool was quite nice to have.
Disliked: You know that the facilities are quite dated and in some cases literally falling apart. Lack of AC in the room is ridiculous! Please replace the carpet which borders on scary. I thought we paid way too much for facilities that are in such poor condition.

Liked: Excellent value and location. Very kind and patient staff.

Always our go-to when we...

Liked: The staff. Always friendly & accommodating. The beds are comfortable and the location is stellar.
Disliked: It’s a bit run down and parking isn’t always available. But, it’s clean and there’s always street parking if the lot is full.

Disappointing

Liked: Being right across the street from the beach
Disliked: The carpet and smell in the hotel room. Also the pillow was musty. The heat with no a/c. It's an old hotel the needs to be updated. The parking was tight.

Hot

Disliked: No AC no breakfast no coffee to bad

Mediocre

Liked: Location and pool. Nice stuff
Disliked: No air conditioning, poorly functioning shower and easily clogged sink. Very tight bathroom space. Very small pool towels in low quantities. Very expensive price per room.

place to sleep

Liked: not very much. meals were very price high.
Disliked: no coffee maker in room, no microwave, parking was on first come base and most of the time had to park on the street.
