Liked: Our three-night stay was beyond our expectations! The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was a tad small but certainly not a deal breaker. The restaurant was extremely convenient with a beautiful view looking out onto the lake. We had breakfast there each morning and the food was great. The property is lovely, large, and well-thought-out. There are designated smoking areas outside with picnic tables and benches. The pool was very nice and mostly protected from the wind. It was great to be able to park our motorcycles directly in front of our room. We had a large balcony overlooking the lake. The location is perfect. It's basically at the beginning of the Cabot Trail and close to Sydney, the Louisbourg Fortress, etc. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel. You won't be disappointed!

Liked: Excellent. The staff and the views are fantastic . Beautiful home made tea biscuits are fluffy and served hot. great selection on the menu for everyone. The coffee keeps coming as much as you want.
