Brilliant location, comfortable and well-equipped.

Liked: great location a short walk from both beach and shops, on a quiet street; very well equipped room; lovely north-facing sunny balcony with leafy outlook. Late check-in made easy. I’d stayed here briefly years ago. I chose it this time bcs I needed somewhere I could cancel without penalty up to a month before my booking …presumably this was why the price was so inflated.
Disliked: I get that it is the Easter public holiday, but if I am paying such a high price for a room i expect it to be serviced daily: no staff on site for Fri/Sat/Sun, and left with a single handtowel and bathmat for the apartment for 4 days…not good enough. The woman who checked me in was very warm & welcoming; the woman checking me out did not bother asking how my stay/weekend was, thanking me orgiving any indication that she’d like me to return. When i asked if a late checkout was possible she did not answer directly, instead showing me a locker where I could leave my bag for the morning.
