Liked: Love that our motel room had a sitting area outside and amongst beautiful gardens to boot! Very clean and comfortable

Not worth the money, do...

Liked: The grounds were beautiful, lovely rolling hills, a pool and putt putt course. My room had a beautiful view.
Disliked: Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the view because my neighbors were constantly outside in the shared porch. They were a group of dudes and they were loud and drinking all day and night. I mean, good for them, enjoy your time.. but some of us wanted to relax a bit. For real, I've never had louder neighbors in a hotel in my life! I suspect the walls are not very well insulated? Also, the water. There was a note in my room from the staff, telling me they use well water and while it's treated with chlorine, it may be discolored. My friend, it was YELLOW with bits of i-don't-know-what in it. It looked like pee, and smelled like rotten eggs. I couldn't shower or brush my teeth with it.. After some testing, I realized the cold water was more clear and smelled less terrible, so I washed my hands with cold water.. thank goodness I was only there one night. I asked for a refund for the second night (I had originally booked two nights but I could not get myself to stay), they refused. Not even a partial refund, nothing. Paid full price for a terrible experience. Overpriced af too. Premium prices for a motel experience at best.
