By The Sea Bed and Breakfast

A great bed and breakfast...

Liked: Nice quiet location, good choice for breakfast. Very accommodating staff, made us feel right at home straight away.Very clean bed and breakfast that was managed very professionally. If in Eastbourne again we would stay again.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Charming B&B and host who...

Liked: A charming B&B run by very hospitable hosts. We stayed in a balcony room which had a good amount of room and the location opposite the beach was lovely. Parking was available on street or in the 3 bays for guests. The breakfast was exceptional. We were finishing the South Downs Way and combining it with a mini break and By the Sea was perfect for us.
Disliked: It was a little tight in the shower (I’m not that big!) but still more than adequate.

Liked: Very clean and tidy, host was very friendly. Good value for money.
Disliked: Roof a bit awkward, but was mentioned on listing. Only bath and no standing shower.

Great little B & B

Liked: Matthew, the owner was so helpful and accommodating, letting us check in whenever we wanted to. The room was big, very clean and very comfortable. Beautiful sea view. Great range of tea, coffee etc, and lots of it. Lovely breakfast. Perfect location for everything you need. We will definitely be returning.

Liked: Mathew the host is charming ,the property was spotless and comfortable . There was a lovely breakfast each morning with a lovely choice .
Disliked: Our room was lovely but it was on the top floor which for us was a slight struggle .(dodgy knees )

Liked: Breakfast was made freshly and was very good. Comfortable bed. Friendly hosts
Disliked: Nothing. All good.
