Liked: Lovely, welcoming hosts, very comfortable rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for iconic New England charm you need look no further. We can’t wait to return.

Poor value, male owner couldn’t...

Liked: Clean, quiet, great location
Disliked: Uncomfortable hard beds, doors couldn’t shut and lock unless you used extreme force. No fireplaces on which was confusing considering it was cold outside. Activity areas were uninteresting. Breakfast was terrible, you couldn’t even choose what you wanted to eat and the quality of the food was poor.

Wonderful Stay!

Liked: Very clean, beautiful historical building. Donna was super nice and gave us great dining recommendations.
Disliked: No real complaints. We had our own exit on the first floor, which was very nice. The room above us was occupied and we could hear them moving around, but no conversation. You may want to bring earplugs if you are not as lucky to get quiet neighbors.
