This environmentally friendly hotel is in the center of Carrick-on-Shannon and is over 200 years old. It has free Wi-Fi free parking and modern en suite rooms. The Bush Hotel is in County Leitrim between Dublin and Sligo. It is one of Ireland's oldest hotels and was once a traveler's inn. The hotel now mixes original character with modern style. There are open fires quiet gardens and secure parking. The rooms have private bathrooms modern TVs tea/coffee telephones and hairdryers. Each room has a work desk and bottled mineral water stationary and newspapers are free. Liked: Breakfast good. Hotel clean, too warm at night only fault I can say
Disliked: Not enough nightlife or activity more suited to older people

Staff were really friendly and...

Liked: I really appreciated how honest they were. The day before my stay Dee from reservations/reception mentioned that they had a large group leaving the hotel the day I was checking in. She explained that my room wouldn’t be ready until closer to 4.
Disliked: There was nothing the hotel could have done to prevent this but the people next door kept banging on the wall or kept slamming the door
