Pleasant

Liked: Good location, friendly staff
Disliked: single bed in room 5 was dangerous and very loose screws on it, reported it to staff but was not fixed and my 4 year old grandson was supposed to sleep in it.

Cricket week

Liked: Located about 15 minutes from York minster. Nice n and b with friendly staff. Staff provided fan and air con unit due to hot weather.
Disliked: Nothing.

Burton villa was spotlessly clean...

Liked: The property was in a convenient location for the town and having parking was a bonus.
Disliked: The shower head kept slipping, not able to tighten it.

A serviceable standard B&B.

Liked: This is a reliable, conventional B&B well-positioned just north of the historic city centre. The beds are comfortable and the garrets even have a partial view of the Minster.
Disliked: The upper rooms feel close, warm and humid, and supplying a fan and a dehumidifier doesn't quite cope with the fug. The cooked breakfast is passable but I was surprised not to be asked which of the listed components I actually wanted - they must waste a great many baked beans every day.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, although some of the tables where a bit close together

Great location - rooms are...

Liked: Good value for money. The location is great, just a quick walk to the City Centre of York. Parking is provided which was more than helpful and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Rooms are quite old, you can tell the furniture and bathroom appliances have seen better days.
