Liked: Beautiful hotel, very comfy bed and pillows. Very large room, excellent shower. Tasty breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

Very good
Liked: The location was ok, a 20 min walk into the edge of town. The staff were fine, the room was quite large and clean. But the hotel common areas lack any form of atmosphere, it is extremely sterile. The TV was not attached to the internet, I couldn't stream any service.
Disliked: The breakfast was quite average. Only weak filter coffee on offer, and when I asked the young waitress if they could prepare a cappuccino, I was told that she had not been trained yet. I would assume that if you hire 1person to handle the dining room , management would have thought to train the staff.

Superb
Liked: Lovely setting, variety on menu, affordable and pleasant staff.
Disliked: Lateness of check in which is 4pm. I think 2pm is more reasonable.

Liked: Location was excellent in walking distance to main attractions. Breakfast was very nice staff very polite.l
Disliked: Didn't feel it was necessary for staff to stand around while you had breakfast.lovely. we had a drink in the bar wasn't happy with the young lady that served us she didn't make eye contact and my husband felt he had to greet her first in order to be served.

Additional £75, on check-in, still...
Liked: Decent sized room.
Disliked: After having already paid in advance, on arrival, my credit card had an additional £75 debited to it to cover, apparently, any 'additional costs', such as damages, etc., which, I was assured, would be re-credited within 2 to 3 days of my departure. As of over a week since leaving, this still has not occurred. I found this to be a curious practice, in what is basically a provincial hotel. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including big international hotels, where this procedure is not adopted. The location is not convenient to the town for walking. You need to use the car where parking is extremely limited.
