Burnside Hotel

Ideal Stratford base.

Liked: Very well maintained hotel, freshly decorated and pleasantly furnished in a modern, imaginative style. Very comfortable bed and a good bathroom with excellent shower. Our room (11) faced the woodland so was very quiet.Easy parking on site for a small charge. The food at breakfast and in the adjoining Cask & Tandoor bar/restaurant was of very good quality. Service from the staff was of the highest standard. The young ladies at breakfast were impeccable in their manner, efficiency and thoughtfulness. They carried out their tasks with great charm and dignity. Our stay was enhanced by the presence of Minty who from our arrival was a delight to converse with. Each day she greeted us warmly and took a friendly interest in our plans, giving us very good advice on how to enhance our visits to the local area. Burnside is an ideal place to stay for Stratford and the surrounding area being a very short drive or brief walk from Stratford's attractions. Having booked a return visit already I'm sure it will be the second of many.

Pleasant stay and located well...

Liked: Comfortable bed and good bathroom with toiletries. Staff pleasant and helpful. Decor in main area and bedroom of a good standard.
Disliked: Walls are a bit thin / not sound proofed so partner woken by people talking in the middle of the night when they checked in!

A lovely place to stay...

Liked: Very comfortable. We were upgraded due to a double booking. The air conditioning was bliss! The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Disliked: We weren’t impressed with the food and the 2 drinks I ordered (cocktail and a baileys) were undrinkable.
