Liked: Breakfast was great every day, the room was large and warm and very clean.Sharon was always on hand to answer all our questions. Also very knowledgeable about the area, offering advise on were to go. Would recommend Burnside for a relaxing stay.
Disliked: Shower a bit on the small side. Everything else just fine.

Liked: Very pleasant reception by our hostess ,making us feel welcome and at home. The room was not very big but comfortable and adequate.Breakfast was a choice of several dishes and the choices we made were of a high standard. The full English breakfast was well cooked and generous in size.The whole experience , from the accommodation point of view,was very pleasing.
Disliked: The shower was quite small

Liked: Lovely building in a great location. Clearly taken a lot of time to furnish and decorate. Great room looking out to the fells. Really comfortable. Fantastic breakfast that really set us up for our days out whilst walking.

Lovely B&B in good location...

Liked: This is a lovely B&B in a good location. It is a 15 min walk into Keswick where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. It is also a 15 min walk to Castlerigg stone circle, from where you can find excellent walks. Sharon is a welcoming host and cooks an excellent breakfast, with lots of choice on offer. She is also very knowledgeable about the area and can recommend walks/ things to do etc. Our room was spotless and comfortable and we had a great stay. Parking is easy - there is a road opposite the B&B where you can park for free.

Liked: I loved everything, it was cosey, spotless clean, no noise, beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Sharron the owner was so lovely, I’ve never stayed anywhere with a host that made us feel as welcome and her breakfasts are 5 star! It was like home from home and we will 100% book again.
Disliked: Honestly can’t fault it. Home from Home.
