Burnett Arms Hotel

Very central location and reasonably...

Liked: Decent priced accomodation in an area that's very popular and expensive in summer.
Disliked: Pub can be a little noisy on weekend nights, but didn't bother us overmuch.

Disappointing

Disliked: The TV didn't workThe shower didn't workThe hotel is "tired"

Worst stay ever experienced!

Liked: The only efficient person there was a lovely girl behind the bar, everything else was appalling
Disliked: No hot water in our shower, was suggested we turned the cold tap on at the wash basin before showering and that should solve our problem! It didn’t and at the price we paid I’d expect not to be in a room they knew had this problem! Serious lack of staff, service slow and disorganised, food was below average, breakfast was disorganised and what I wanted wasn’t available even though it was in the menu! No one available when we checked out, had to leave a note for someone to call me regarding my complaints above, still waiting that call!! Shocking hotel AVOID!!!

Liked: did not have breakfast was meeting friends locally for breakfast fairly nice room happy with parking
Disliked: our room faced the high street large amount of teenagers hanging around outside very intoxicated through alcohol noise late into the night and early hours noisy karaoke in the bar

Good location for visiting aberdeenshire

Liked: Good location for where we wanted to visit.Room was good size and generally speaking our stay was good.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room was above the outside beer garden area and the noise was very loud.

Disappointing stay

Liked: Very well located in centre of town. Comfortable bed & clean room
Disliked: No-one at check-in (receptionist was doubling up as bar staff), bar (where I ordered a meal) was full of drunken teenagers who crashed into my table twice knocking my meal flying so I abandoned trying to eat.
