Liked: Location, really good. Within 400yds of lake, shops and bars.Breakfast really good, could not complain.Beds and pillows very comfortable.
Disliked: Rooms OK but furnature dated.Bathrooms need an overall, mould on ceiling, around bath and on the rubber strip on shower screen.Old wooden window in bathroom that waa rotten.Pressure on shower was hit and miss, depends on who else within the hotel block was running water at same time.Old rotten wooden door leads to the appartment, needs ripping out and fully replaced.Bedside lamp shades had holes and rips in them.TV looks like something out of the 90s, needs replacing.Even thou i told hotel that it was my mother in law 80th birthday, not even a chocolate or card left in her room. Hotel lacks the small detail customer care.

Enjoyed our stay at this...

Liked: Nicely decorated in reception and lounge area. The breakfast was great good choice of hot and cold food. Ideal location about 15 min walk to centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. Friendly staff. Parking was good as each room has its own space right outside the front door.
Disliked: Found the room (14) to be in need of some T.L.C scuff marks on the skirting as you walk in. A lick of paint is all it needs. The door to bathroom was sticking and a little rotted at the bottom. The front door was in need of a varnish. For over £200/night I expected it to be pristine.

This hotel was welcoming, comfortable...

Liked: The location was perfect to access our tours, restaurants and pubs. We liked being a little walk out of the town as it was very busy in the town during our visit. We both enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the selection of hot breakfasts. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The staff were very friendly and one particular lady remembered we liked being by the window to watch the birds and made sure we sat there for breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing to mention.

Perfect location. Family friendly.

Liked: It's a perfect location for our first visit to Windermere. We reached the pier and peter rabbit attraction by walking distance.Its family friendly. Parking in front of our room.Staff is super friendly and super helpful.The breakfast they provided was so good. The restaurant was elegant and cozy. All waiters and waitresses were so professional, kind, and decent. Our family loves this hotel so much. We highly recommend Burn How Garden hotel.
Disliked: It's not really affecting a lot. Just if the TV connection is better and if there's a hair conditioner provided, it will be even better than perfect.

A peaceful and comfortable stay...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at the Burn How Garden Hotel. The location was fantastic – close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful – and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Our room was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day out exploring.The included breakfast was excellent – delicious, fresh, and with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Overall, a charming hotel with gorgeous surroundings and a truly enjoyable stay.
Disliked: One small downside was that the room didn’t have a bar fridge, which was a little disappointing. While the staff were happy to supply buckets of ice, keeping drinks cool proved a bit of a challenge.

Disliked: There was not remote for the TV the cleaner on her checks on the room it should have been picked up
