This peaceful family-run Lake District hotel is a 5-minute stroll from Lake Windermere. The Burn How's rooms are all located in the private grounds away from the main building. Each individually decorated room has its own free dedicated car parking space and WiFi. Many have a private balcony. Breakfast is served overlooking the garden. There is a relaxing lounge a patio and a bar open throughout the day and evening. A lovely holiday at a...

Liked: The hotel, the room, the breakfast menu and the staff were fantastic. The building is beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, our room was enormous and beautifully decorated with a balcony that overlooked the gardens, the breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have ever experienced and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

We had a lovely stay.

Liked: Excellent location. Wonderful, helpful and attentive staff. Fabulous breakfast. Beautiful gardens. We were allowed to leave the car on the premises following check out with no additional charge which was very much appreciated. M
Disliked: The room was tired and needs updating.
