Set on the edge of a steep hillside overlooking the Golden Valley Burleigh Court Hotel is a 18th-century Cotswold-stone manor house located in the heart of Royal Gloucestershire. The hotel features a large garden as well as an on-site restaurant and a bar. Each of the individually decorated and furnished bedrooms offers views of the property's gardens or across the Golden Valley. They include a seating area and a private bathroom fitted with a bathtub or a shower. Some rooms also come with a fireplace and large four-poster beds. Burleigh Court's restaurant offers a two-rosette dining experience serving a locally-sourced menu using only top-draw ingredients and kitchen garden produce. Guests can enjoy a drink in the bar or the terrace from the extensive variety of wines ales and spirits offered in the bar. A full English breakfast is also served every morning in the common dining room or in the guest rooms upon request. Almost Perfect !

Liked: Lovely decor and furnishings. Excellent customer service . Excellent breakfast . Lovely grounds . All looks very well cared for . Good evening meal .
Disliked: Dining room cold in evening by window . Lounge cold in evening … curtains needed closing . Fire not lit. Coffee after meal very basic … no petit fours or mint & served in ugly crockery .

Great location, good service, stunning...

Liked: Stunning view of Stroud from our room window. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our secluded room in the coach house.
Disliked: While functional, the bathroom is a little dated for the price of the room.

Amazing experience all-round, shame about...

Liked: The staff were amazing and the location was stunning. They were accommodating until the early hours and made sure everyone had an amazing experience. The rooms were beautiful and the wine and cigar selection was more than adequate
Disliked: The plantbased / vegan options could have been much better. It was limited to one choice per course and they were quite rich. That was the only negative comment I have about the whole experience. Hopefully this gets better soon.
