Lovely place and the food...

Liked: Beautiful setting, interesting building and loved the drawing room and breakfast room. Excellent breakfast. Had snacks in the evening and although there was a limited choice, the quality of food was great.
Disliked: Moths in the bedroom

Liked: Staff were great. The food was delicious.

Disappointed with our stay

Liked: We liked the eggs Benedict. The lake view was beautiful. They had a fridge.sitting room was nice.
Disliked: Staff was not personable. We noticed blood on the duet, nobody apologized but changed the bedding. No one said a word to us when we checked out, I said are we all set and yes was said and that was it. No Thankyou for choosing us or did you enjoy your stay nothing. Wow we are not happy.. no appreciation at all.. I guess they don’t need the business. I would never stay there again nor would we recommend.

Definitely worth a visit if...

Liked: Location was amazing. Staff went above and beyond too and the food was exceptional. Worth a visit for the food alone.
Disliked: It was a little dated, and tired.

Liked: It is absolutely gorgeous, and seeing how old it is, it’s been very well maintained. I always worry about mold or bugs in such old spaces, but there was nothing like that! Most comfortable
