A nice pub to have...

We had a comfortable night...

Liked: Quiet room with comfortable beds to the side of the main pub, well located close to the Ridgeway path, which we were walking.
Disliked: Bath/shower water could have been hotter.

Comfortable, quiet and good value

Liked: Convenient for walking the Ridgeway Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. Food was good and very good value
Disliked: Hot water was limitedThe chef was not available for breakfast, but there was a lovely cafe across the bridge which opened at 08.30 (Pierreponts)

Great location, comfortable room

Liked: Great location, easy to find, friendly staff, lovely countryside around
Disliked: Unfortunalty there was no chef when I was staying there, so had to walk into Goring for food, this isn't far and only a short term issue, would have been nice to know before arrival

Disliked: Shower didn’t work. No soap in the bathrooms. Tried to contact - no answer. Tried to check out, no one was there and wouldn’t answer phone. Have emailed and contacted since and completely ignored via booking.com, phone and email.
