A quick overnight stay. Good...

Liked: Room was lovely, with an ensuite bathroom. Nice size room with TV. Breakfast was lovely. Nice hearty size and hosts were really friendly. Was in a great location, just a short walk to the beach front.
Disliked: There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

We love Bexhill

Liked: Fantastic location and although near to the pubs, restaurants and beach it was very quiet. The breakfast was good, great poached eggs. Great TV with Netflix, thinking of getting one ourselves. Rachel was chatty and friendly, and asked several times if everything was alright, I didn’t feel that I could say it wasn’t and kind of felt pressured to say it was okay.
Disliked: Before we arrived we received an email asking what time we were arriving and asking us to call when we were 15 minutes away. I’ve never had this before. I called and Andy answered, and to say he was put out when I corrected him that there were 2 of us and I’d requested twin beds, is an understatement. I said we’d leave it for 45 minutes he wasn’t at all thankful. We arrived, he wasn’t at all welcoming. My daughter is autistic and she was incredibly nervous of him and his attitude the whole time we were there. The beds were really uncomfortable., springs pinging for most of the night. The duvets were thin, we bought some throws for warmth and weight. It was a book breakfast the day before situation. Personally I’m not good with that as I don’t know what I’m going to want to eat in the morning, and felt bad leaving some of my breakfast.

Liked: The owners were hospitable, friendly and helpful. Having the wifi and connected tv was a boon and much appreciated. It was lovely to have our dog welcomed.
Disliked: No parking! The landlady had a special token system that is run by the council to offset the cost of parking however, there are no spaces, a better scheme would be welcomed to help with the parking. Needs modernising. I am not happy with the difference in Booking.com's price and the direct price for the property if you contact the owners. Book direct with the property for a much better price.

Liked: Andy and Rachel are welcoming, they can't do enough to make a great stay. The breakfast is amazing !
