Budock Vean Hotel

Absolutely stunning hotel and grounds.

Liked: Beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet countryside location. Good sized family room with well-equiped bathroom. Lovely spa products to use or buy. Washing line over the shower was a good touch for drying wet things used in the pool and hot tub which were both excellent. Lovely grounds with several walks through the gardens including down to the river. Good breakfast range and good food in the Terrace.
Disliked: Could do with window shades in the Terrace restaurant as the sun blazing in was unbearable.Odd room numbering - 46 is barely signposted.

Exceptional

Liked: Great place for a relaxing time, golf course was challenging, good spa area open till late , gardens very nice and well looked after but a steep hill to walk down to the shore line , local pubs a bit of a walk away ,but the bar in the hotel was good and plenty of different seating areas,
Disliked: Breakfast was good but found the choice slightly limited when staying for a week compared to other places we have stayed at .

Liked: The breakfast, the location and the staff were all excellent.
Disliked: The hotel lacked parking and other facilities for disabled people - my wife is disabled and she struggled getting around. We were given a parking space by the staff which was very satisfactory but it was under a no parking sign and we had to ask specially.

Liked: The team at the hotel were amazing and really looked after me. The hotel is set in stunning grounds with a good spa. Would love to stay again under less stressful personal circumstances.
