One of the worst experiences...

Liked: Comfortable beds. View is nice.
Disliked: We asked for a corner suite, got the suite beside it. They said it was due to us having a pet; but we’ve stayed in that suite with a pet before. We ended up in the corner suite anyway an hour later when the room they gave us wouldn’t warm up with the heater. No rooms were warm when we got there. It was 30 degrees outside and they have you go into a cold room even though we had prebooked. So whether we showed up or not, they got their money. It Took an hour for the heater to take the chill off even in the new room. . We were asked to give a $100 deposit cash for the room. On top of the $25 pet fee. No receipt was given for the cash deposit even when requested. So we just hoped for the best. She did return our money at check out. The room had German roaches that we didn’t see until we were getting out of the shower about 9 am the morning of check out. We have stayed here many times. This will be our last. They need to learn how to treat their customers. Especially repeat guests. I have told many people that this was a clean, comfortable place to stay. I will now tell people to stay far away from this place.

Liked: The enclosed deck was enjoyable to be able to use. The view was beautiful as we were on the upper-level rooms. We paid an additional fee for our pet.
Disliked: Grounds messy and unkept, outdated decor, no breakfast, no pool. Not enough toilet paper. Room needed clean chairs; they were badly stained. the remote malfunctioned for the TV. Not all TV channels functioned, coffee pot was dirty and had an old coffee ground package still in the pot. We waited outside of lobby when first trying to check in for 20 minutes as the front doors were locked. We almost left as there was no sign telling us when they might return to let us get in to check in our prepaid room. Again, for check out, there wasn't anyone to take our key nor take back the key card. We saw that others left their cards outside of the building on a window ledge; I felt that wasn't a safe nor professional way to check out, but we had no other choice because we had to get going to our next leg of our trip.

Liked: The staff was extremely friendly. The room had a view at the mountains. The fridge and microwave in the room were useful.
Disliked: Peeling wallpaper. Cracked floor tiles in the bathroom. Balcony/terrace common for all the rooms upstairs.
