Budget Inn - St. Petersburg

Disliked: Cockraches in room. Very dirty; room stunk; no coffee available in the morning and homeless people hanging around lot and rooms.

The staff was great, the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been more helpful if the staff had advised us of how to turn on the air conditioner. When we checked in, we were not told of the continental breakfast. We did not find out until we were checking out. The soap was so tiny that it was not good to take a shower or bath with - we had to get more soap from the front desk. It would also be nice if they provided shower caps for people who forgot to bring one. Overall the stay was pleasant but would be better if things were upgraded.

It was a seedy place to stay. Empty crack bags outside,and pool was full of dead bugs.When staff came to clean room next morning, bed was made but sheets were not changed. Would not choose this place again.

Disliked: they say that there was free wi fi and it wasn't hooked up properly. There was no extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to ask for some. It smelled funny. When we used the microwave,which was plugged into the same outlet as the TV and fridge, the power blew out.

Liked: I didn't like anything. It's dirty, nasty, smells like urine. There were some sketchy activities going on outside my door. My TV didn't work. I told the lady it was the socket. They need to fix it for the next person. It's room 119. These rooms are outdated. They need to be bleached and scrubbed. The sheets look dirty and like they were NOT changed. I didn't sleep on them. I took a chance and just slept on top of the comforter or blanket. There was no garbage can. What hotel has no garbage can? I had to get a room again tonight and they tried to run a scam on me! The nerve of them. I won't ever be coming back.
Disliked: I disliked EVERYTHING. If I had more money I'd be down the street in the Quality Inn. I didn't like the smell. I didn't like how old and outdated everything looked. I didn't like the fact that my TV didn't work in room 119. I didn't like the fact that there was no garbage can in room 119. I didn't like the old, noisy dusty window AC. Who still has those? I don't like the dirty doors and walls. The sheets don't look clean and I KNOW that black girl knows to use bleach in the whites to make them smell fresh. They don't smell fresh. These people barely clean anything. I actually asked about an application but changed my mind about wanting to work for such a dishonest establishment.
