Disliked: The staff was rude the owner threw my room key down and didn't have any nice things to say. The rooms were dirty and smelled really bad I had to clean toilet before using the sheets were dirty and the air conditioner didn't work so the room was hot. Outlets didn't work and there were exposed wire from light fixtures. Lots of flies due to heat and dirtyness refused to give me a refund.

Just caught a little bit...

Liked: Just caught a little bit of Historic Route 66, motel was a newer remodel but still the original structure. Was just a short visit but had a good nights sleep. Everything was great.

Quaint and comfortable

Liked: The bed was comfortable. Parking was great. I have a trailer and was able to park it on property.
Disliked: It was 2 miles off the interstate.

Disliked: I usually stay at Budget type places but this was the worst I've ever experienced. When I walked into the room it was like walking into a meat locker. It was so cold that my hands were ice cold. The wall unit AC / heater took over 2 hours to get the place barely comfortable. During the night it kept turning on no matter what the fan speed it would howl like a jet exhaust for 20 seconds then shut off. Never again!
