Liked: The bed and bathroom areas were spacious and clean. The outside sitting area was very nice with the chair groupings and games.
Disliked: The room had a slight smell of pets in one section.

Liked: It was very clean. Great location. Small, homey feel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: The bathroom door was a little awkward due to space.

Overall a nice place.

Liked: Price was better than other available motels in the area (last minute booking). Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The back yard was very nice especially Hugo’s Way path which provided a short nature walk behind the property (look for the log cabin bird houses along the way).
Disliked: My wife said that the mattress was too hard making it difficult for her to sleep. Also the A/C in our room didn’t work very well.

A well-situated, refurbished older style...

Liked: My pet-friendly king size room was spacious and well furnished for my 2night stay. Also there was an inviting and well thought out backyard area with adjacent woodland trail that was a welcome feature for dog-owning guests and their pets to use.
Disliked: Only 6 of the 25 rooms are designated as "pet-friendly" and these are all situated around back and on the lower level of the motel, making you feel isolated and kind of ghettoized. And I was awoken at 6am by the sounds of people's footsteps in the room immediately above mine.
