Liked: Location is great. Lovely area and not far from loch lomond. Swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi was lovely.

Fine but dated

Liked: Convenient location on the West Highland Way
Disliked: Had a dated and tired feel but ultimately did the job as we were only stopping for one night. We chose to eat out as it wasn’t particularly inviting to eat in a dated restaurant. The pub in the village was perfect and much more in keeping with the ‘vibe’ of the trip.

Relaxed Stay

Liked: Lovely hotel, a very relaxed vibe and lovely pool area to relax in.

Passable

Liked: The two assets are the Conservatory. Although I preferred when the comfy sofas were there. Now it's tables and chairs. The other being the spa and swimming pool.
Disliked: The room we had was right at back of hotel. The corridor carpets are a trip hazard. They are old and worn. Lost count of the amount of stairs we had to use. The room itself was overly warm. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Skirting were filthy and small insects in bath. Looked like a new carpet and curtains but rest of room needs to match. Needs repainting and new beds.

Very enjoyable

Liked: Very good selection for breakfast and was cooked well,the dinner was superb to served by friendly staff.

Passable

Liked: The staff were great, restaurant food was great, the pool and spa were great.
Disliked: The bed and pillows was so bad. Hard and flat.
