Horrible horrific experience
Liked: Hotel from hell they probably double booked and left us outside Knowing I had booked with children no proper communication The trauma that took place after being abandoned by hotel I’ll never forget And after paying for hotel I paid a waiver of 5 pounds each for 5 people and still was not happy then wanted I’d for everyone booked and all this a10’30 at night and still asking for more money i never for get it the worst
Disliked: Everything disgusting behaviour poor communication and don’t travel miles and expect a room because if someone pays all the waivers and extras they make up there and then You’re left to your own devices please don’t book for a special occasion they will ruin your experience Truely mixed up place to say the least this is my personal experience

The communication is absolutely horrendous
Liked: The location is the only thing that's worthwhile about it. The rooms are passable at hostel quality but we didn't even have a sink or water. We had a private patio for the dog which was perfect and the whole stay would have been ok if the staff weren't so horrific at responding.
Disliked: The lack of communication from the staff is absolutely appalling. They ask for additional charges not on booking.com such as additional insurance and an extra fee for pets. I had been asking to pay the pet fee all week and they didn't send the link until after I had already arrived, with aggressive signs absolutely plastering the walls threatening to fine me for not paying the pet fee that they never sent me. They only actually sent me the link to pay the pet free when I told them I had days of proof of asking for a way to pay that they constantly ignored, so they had no grounds to fine me. The whole thing felt very seedy. We also wanted to upgrade the room for an additional person. I spent 9 days prior to the stay trying to get hold of them to upgrade and only on the actual day of the booking did they offer to help so our friend had to make a different arrangement. We were literally trying to give them more money and they wouldn't respond to their emails or phone or WhatsApp for days. They lost out on money for being incapable of responding for well over a week. If you have any issues you will NOT get through to them. There is no reception, just a badly worded copy/paste of text they send you on the day.

Never ever book this hotel...
Liked: Nothing good there .
Disliked: Totally disaster, room was so bad , not at all like pictures, smell old carpet and some paint , hard to breath , no one come to property to help us and after 3 hours wait , we left property and book other hotel . It was bad experience, property is looks very uncomfortable, my advice do not book even it’s free . Online staff is so rude , not English speaking and do not agree with any complaints. I lost my money and time . It’s Big NO for this property.

Liked: The staff who checked us in was welcoming and accommodating.
Disliked: Wasn’t accommodating for medical needs, first room that was given wasn’t cleaned and then they upgraded the room, but still on a higher floor which was difficult due to medical issues The fees for the hotel and hidden in a small print, and should definitely be one of the main things told when booking before paying. The second room was probably the smallest room they have, no ventilation, no fan, no ac.

Disliked: On appearance not good looks run down and not welcoming TLC needed appreciate its an old building but has so much potential

Disliked: Everything about the hotel was appalling. It was dirty, cramped and there was no reception staff on site. they did not respond to our complaints about unclendliness. All was appalling. I recommend no one stays here.

Liked: The room & building interior - elegant. The room was comfortable,, quite special., lots of pillows. Close to the sea! Good area with lovely park. Easy to access....kind of!Advance check-in :online- a drama. BUT, the staff answering the WHATSAPP text queries & issues are REALLY HELPFUL, DO A GREAT JOB & VERY NICE.
Disliked: You book a hotel room, & think that's it. But nooo. Did not notice that it is self check-in..the drama starts: you need to note the booking confirmation number, set up a WhatsApp number then send photo ID etc to the WhatsApp, & pay a small extra fee for insurance then send the receipt to whatsapp...& do a CHECK-IN online. A real pain in the butt when you are busy. But, on arrival, it all went smoothly, no probs.
