This is the second time...

Liked: The hotel is an architectural masterpiece in beautiful grounds.
Disliked: Most if the staff are friendly and helpful, but don't leave anything in your room you don't want to be moved around and touched be the staff.I left a wedding shawl drying on blocking mats and came back to my room to find it had been moved against a radiator that had been turned up high, luckily I came back to bring my daughters wedding dress to my room so managed to save it from being scorched and ruined. That could have spoiled my daughters wedding that was happening at the hotel. I kept all staff out of my room for the next 2 days as I was worried about the wedding dress too.

Liked: Beautiful building with lovely furnishings .Friendly staff and nice bar .This was a return visit .The piano
Disliked: Dirty windows in disrepair Security light outside the window shining through the curtainsThe plugs were in the floor and the kettle cable didn't reach so had to boil the kettle on the floor. Only one uht milk pot so couldn't make 2 teas.
