Liked: Great location. Beautiful decoration. Clean, cosy and comfortable.

Overall the stay was good.

Liked: Breakfasts were very good.
Disliked: Sloping floor in room 5 plus 2 steep steps down into the bathroom which were a struggle. The bathroom needs a grab handle for older guests as it was difficult to get out the bath without one.

Liked: Everything, the room was lovely, everything we needed was there, even a fan and we certainly needed that! Breakfast was lovely, owners/staff all very helpful and friendly.Location was perfect.

Liked: The rooms are excellent
Disliked: Could not have breakfast because it doesn't get served until 0830hrs. This is too late when one has to be at work at 0830hrs. most hotels start breakfast at 0730hrs so one can eat and then go to work. It must be a South Hams thing.

Disliked: I was in Room 4. The mattress was as hard as i have ever experienced. The sink was too small and narrow to wash your face. There was no face cloth to wash with. The shower head was black with mold. When i got in the shower and started the water, the water started to pool around my feet which told me that the water was not going down the drain. I moved the drain cover with my foot, it flipped over to show algae clogging the drain. I almost screamed. I turned the water pressure down as i guessed that the water was flowing too fast for it to go down the drain. I finished up and got out of the shower as soon as i could. The tv was also very small to be seen from the bed.

Liked: Wonderful place but I’ve stayed a few times and there never seems to be a chef available so I can’t eat at the hotel.
