Easy, Comfortable and accomodating.

Liked: I just had coffee, but I appreciated coming in in my comfort clothes and helping myself.

My stay was too short.

Liked: The first thing I liked was the management going out of their way to absorb a communication problem about my having brought my dog with me. They didn’t get that information through booking.com as they should have and had to make a special accommodation for me and my dog. I really liked the management. The room was perfect for my dog and me. I also loved how the hotel was so nicely decorated. It gave a unique and warm feeling about the place you wouldn’t find at any standard hotel.
Disliked: It would have been better for both the management and me if I had booked directly with them rather than through booking.com. What I didn’t like had nothing to do with the hotel, but with my schedule. I would have loved to have the time to use the hot tub.

Would recommend getting a room...

Liked: Breakfast options were quite nice (e.g. an array of frozen sandwiches and burritos, oatmeal, milk, OJ, coffee, lots of different creamers, toast, bagels, pre-packaged muffins, & fresh fruit). The room was clean and the hot tub was very relaxing.
Disliked: Our room was on the end of the building and the water pipes were very noisy. The man at the front desk was entirely unfriendly. Also, nothing to do with the hotel itself, but we didn't sleep well because there were 5 very noisy kids and a dog staying in the room above.

A charming place with comfort...

Liked: Nice decor and custom wood touches.
Disliked: Breakfast was okay, but a bit limited.

Clean, updated, affordable

Liked: The facility was and older building that has been updated throughout and was very clean. The staff were helpful and attentive. I worried that the close proximity to US50 might make it noisy, but that was not the case (full disclosure - we were on the back side of the building, away from the highway).
Disliked: This is minor. Our bed was very soft. We're used to a firm mattress, so that was a minor negative.
