Exceptional

Lovely stay.Warm and friendly.

Inconsistent service and quality of...

Liked: Able to bring the dog and location
Disliked: Inconsistency in the service. The first night we ate in restaurant service was quick and good. Second night slow and poor. The breakfast was also not good. There was thick dust in the lids of the coffee pots very off putting. The fruit salad was very poor and poached eggs over done. The food was also inconsistent the trout was good but the kids fish fingers poor quality. The burger was basic no garnish. The chips on the Wed night were black.

Liked: Nice welcoming staff.
Disliked: Mediocre food, forgot about our starter, left waiting. Hair in breakfast, didn't take it away. Overpriced food and small portions. Outside rooms need attention. Dead shrubs in pots. Cobwebs all round window frames, feels very dated.
