Very pleasant, comfortable and relaxing.

Liked: Breakfast had a good choice but the hot buffet wasn't always full, bacon missing, scrambled egg missing. Croissants and Danish pastries missing. Treatments we had were excellent. Afternoon tea was good.All staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Sadly there was a power cut that lasted through the best part of the day. We know it wasn't anyone's fault and staff went out of their way to keep us updated and made sure we didn't miss anything we had planned. There was no parking spaces alloted for guests staying in Flint Cottage, where we were. Would have been nice to have had a space by the cottage. That was all we were unhappy with.

Disliked: Could be a bit cleaner, but minor details. Drain of the shower also didn’t work properly.

Liked: The lodge was beautiful, very peaceful in a gorgeous setting.
Disliked: 15 pounds for a Whitley Neill raspberry gin with a splash of lemonade from the pump, served in a tumbler with a cube of ice!

Stunning lodges and hotel and...

Liked: Stay overnight for the ferry port , absolutely stunning hotel and lodges spotlessly clean very big and comfortable would definitely recommend

Very disappointed

Liked: The location was great and beautiful on outside
Disliked: Upon arriving we had 3 lodges, lights weren’t working in one bathroom maintenance came out 3 times and they tripped off constantly all night, 2 other lodges had bathrooms the the back was broken one fell off on a group member while using bruising her back, extra bedding for pullout was absolutely disgusting with wee stains all over and mattress on pull out was same. Manager did offer a 25% discount before we even got into beds linens ect, we picked this hotel as traveling and wanted pool but told when we arrived pool had to be booked in advance this wasn’t told before and pool area is quite small compared to images. Was told to go to check out in morning for discount on plumbing wiring and when I arrived staff was sleeping at desk and told me I’d have to come back as he didn’t know how to use card machine. I was checking out to go on holiday so this created another problem.

Liked: Fantastic buildings and grounds. Ideal for a stay with a dog.
Disliked: The beds in the cabins are very squeaky. A lottie maintenance wouldn’t go a miss

Great setting, quiet and spacious

Liked: Lovely setting, very spacious and good location. Very quiet and private. We stayed in a lodge which has everything you need for your stay. We would stay again and found it to be good value for money.
Disliked: Car parking spaces are very tight and small for the lodges (we have a large car) and we feel they could use a little tlc and the handyman to go round. A blind didn’t work properly and furniture sometimes wasn’t smooth to pull out or close.
