Brookwood Inn Branson

Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. Quiet location.

Liked: Staff was so friendly. Room was clean and neat.
Disliked: Nothing.

Exceptional

Liked: Desert was good. We have stayed here before and like it because of the location. Close to miniature golf and not so crowded.
Disliked: We had no issues so nothing to dislike.

Get what ya pay for.

Liked: I liked the price of the stay.Breakfast was pretty decent, too. If we had our kids with us, they would have loved the desserts before bed..The pool was nice for the whole 15 minutes I was in it. Our bed was decent, but it was obvious that it was very old by the discoloration water marks.I wish I could leave more positives, but....
Disliked: Honestly, in this experience, we got what we paid for. A place to sleep. The review on booking made me feel like this was a STEAL of a deal, but after we checked in.... both of our jaws dropped. The lady at the desk when we checked in was "pleasantly" rude, number one turn off. The room was 90° because the air was off, but we didn't find that out until lugging our stuff to the third floor (no elevator). The room smelled awful - like a wet dog, honesty. My husband was less than impressed. The carpets are green and really need to be replaced - they edges along the walls have years of buildup on them, and it is 100% visible. There were multiple holes in the walls where something may have been hanging, but big enough that I was able to stick toilet paper in them to block said holes. Electrical colds /cord cover was just hanging off of the wall, too. The sink had brown gunk all around it as if it hadn't been cleaned in a good amount of time. The shower had multiple hairs in it, and on the surround along with it being stained / it was visible, there was a slip mat down for an extended amount of time. Towels were dingy with loose strings on them. The air sounded like it was going to blow up when the condenser kicked on. The parking isn't great if you've got a bigger vehicle either.We were so grossed out that we contacted booking.com & the front desk for early checkout - before even staying one night. After quite the conversation, we decided we would only be there to sleep, and it would just be another thing to worry about (getting refunded), so we decided to sleep our full 3 days there. We will not return to this motel, but for those who have the same plans of not being in the room too much, this place is great..

Consistently clean and quiet hotel...

Liked: We have stayed at the Brookwood Inn several times, and it is consistently clean and quiet. My kids love the hot breakfast with waffles and dessert at night. I like having a go-to in Branson as we come often for Silver Dollar City and other fun attractions.
Disliked: I often find hotel beds to be a little hard for me. Brookwood's beds a little too firm for me, but not so bad that I have trouble sleeping. But I've had the same issue at most hotels I've stayed at in Branson.

Room smelled musty and air...

Liked: Ok but same stuff everyday and staying there 3 days and nothing ever changed, on third day we went to have breakfast but left and went to a res for a change of food
Disliked: Change the items alittle everyday

Wonderful stay in Branson

Liked: The lady at reception, Leigh, was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, kept well filled. Room was nice, comfortable beds, good location, totally satisfied, thank you!
Disliked: Not a thing.

Liked: Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Disliked: They wanted to charge extra for early check in.
