Overall our experience was fantastic...

Liked: We stayed for a friend that was getting married in Disneyland. While looking for hotels we happened to find Brookhurst which appeared to be cheap and fairly close to the wedding venue. We arrived to the hotel a bit early from our flight, but while the room wasn’t ready they allowed us to remain in the lobby to wait. Our checkin was supposed to be at 3 but we ended up able to be in the room around 4:15 pm (which we weren’t too worried about). The room the entire duration of our stay was clean and comfortable. It had your normal hotel items and we loved the pool/hot tub especially after walking around Disneyland all day. Another plus? The hotel was only a 10 minute Uber drive to Disney parks (if not a bit faster). The area itself wasn’t bad and there are plenty of food options with a walk down the street! At night, as a female, I’d be a bit more cautious stepping away from the property (but that isn’t the hotels fault, and it’s no different than the city vibe back home). My fiancé and I both said we’d stay here again in a heartbeat if we traveled back to Anaheim: overall: it was fairly priced, comfortable, clean, quiet, and location was nice.
Disliked: Surrounding area at night. This WAS NOT a big issue as the hotel made you feel safe and most individuals did avoid you. If you’re used to a more urban/city atmosphere you’ll be completely fine.

Liked: That I was able to view my vehicle while in the room. There were homeless around the Inn.
Disliked: Although it was an older hotel I still expect all things to work properly. The refrigerator kept me awake through the night making loud noises & the toilet didn't flush. A real inconvenience. Ice Maker had black particles coming out with Ice. Also that after reporting problems asked if I could be compensated they said no because I booked through booking.com. Ugh!!!

Disliked: Check in was a nightmare!On of the qualities and the main reason why we booked this hotel is for being opened 24/7 very disappointing that during the night the door is closed and took us 14 calls, nonstop knocking and ringing bell, honking and 40 minutes for someone to open the door. If the money wasn’t already taken from my bank account we have had left to another place. When staff finally opened the door she first said she was on break then she said she wasn’t sure why she didn’t hear us. I highly recommend staff to leave a sign on the door if they are going on break that would have helped a lot. We genuinely thought no one was going to open the door and were going to have to sleep in our car even though we had already paid!
