Liked: Lorna, our host was terrific. Lots of good travel tips, delicious breakfasts, topped up our rooms with tea bags and biscuits when consumed. Cosy, comfortable rooms.

Liked: Amazing breakfast, tea, coffee and biscuits topped up in the room daily. Lorna was extremely helpful and welcoming. Parking on the street opposite the house - always with available spaces. Lovely view from the room, everything that’s needed was there - towels, shower gel, cotton pads, hairdryer, decent size wardrobe. Lots of treats for guests available at the entrance - never seen this before so a really nice touch to have a little chocolate when you come back from a long hike. Definitely saved on our list of favourite places. Will be coming back soon!

A very welcoming break in...

Liked: Lorna was an excellent host and knowledgeable about things to see in the Lake District including the bus services. A fabulous all encompassing breakfast with plenty of choice including for those with dietary requirements.
Disliked: Nothing that we experienced.
