Made to feel so welcome...

Liked: It’s so friendly and welcoming. Room had everything you could need for your stay. Really well situated for town and walks too.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Very nice place to stay...

Liked: Lorna was a great host! Lots of breakfast options. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we just wanted to sleep in!
Disliked: 20min walk to town and no food options close by.

Liked: Lorna was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was well positioned to walk to Castlerigg Stone Circle.

Dad and Lad weekend away

Liked: Absolutely loved our stay at Brookfield. The owner, Lorna, was so friendly and welcoming. The B&B itself was really nice.A was a nice comfy bed, a clean room, a well stocked tea tray in the room, and a fantastic breakfast with plenty to choose from. I would definitely recommend a stay here and on my next visit to Keswick I know where I'll be booking.

Enjoyable weekend with perfect weather

Liked: Very nice hotel, just outside of the centre, about 25 minute walk. The host is very nice & really helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Some nice places to eat, but make sure to go earlier than later as they get busy & most do not take bookings. The Round was really good & the Thai restaurant on Main St, can’t remember the name, but it was excellent.

Liked: Lorna is an amazing host and such a beautiful soul. She truly goes above and beyond. We had such a special time here. The breakfast has everything you could imagine and is cooked to order....kept us going all day too! And a nice surprise my son got his own room although we didn't book two rooms only that it happened to be free so Lorna prepared it for us. We just loved Brookfield and the whole b and b experience. Such big and comfortable beds and pillows, restocked coffee tea biscuits and marshmallows every day we felt so pampered after being in Airbnbs for so many months. The location is so handy for walking everywhere. Lorna recommend a visit to castlerigg stone circle and it truly is something to behold particularly at sunrise. The guesthouse is well located for all of Keswick. Would love to return to Brookfield one day thank you for everything Lorna !
