Liked: The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. In particular, the lady on duty when we checked in noted that we were exhausted and was really kind and very helpful with food suggestions. The hotel reception was large, bright, airy and welcoming, with many areas to sit and chill out. Lots of free parking was a real bonusThe room was beautifully laid out and the bathroom was also exceptional. The staff were very responsive to requests and replaced our pillows very quickly when we asked.Everywhere was very clean
Disliked: The pillows were way too soft. Even the firmest options were super soft for us. Sitting up in bed was impossible. It would have been great to have actual firm pillows, or more of them.The air-conditioning was poor, despite lots of help from the maintenance crew, it was impossible to cool the room below room temperature. It felt to us like rather than air-conditioning, what we had was actually just a heating option, .The shower was really difficult to use, required too much dexterity and orchestration to turn it on and get it to the right temperature.

Liked: Good parking no issues finding a space. Quick check in. Breakfast good quality and good selection. Meal in the restaurant was good overall. Nice garden at the rear and nice quiet location
Disliked: Decent rooms although shower a little awkward to control and the open design meant the floor got wet. Room was cleaned but carpet was not thoroughly hoovered

Pleasant

Liked: Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Loved the music history throughout the meeting corridors. Electric car chargers were brilliant.
Disliked: Old, stale rooms and decor. Breakfast was very basic and moved to a very dated meeting room for the bank holiday.
