Exceptional
Liked: The friendly and helpful staff. The pub and the restaurant with a water view. The breakfast was awesome, so many choices.

Good location with comfortable beds
Liked: The location was great, the beds were comfortable and warm. The layout of the room was good, it was nice to have a seating area and then steps down to the beds.
Disliked: The walls were dirty and scuffed. The shower was mouldy around the base and the water was lukewarm which was disappointing.

Liked: Homely feel welcoming staff ...nothing too much trouble ...excellent food...would like to mention Martin in the restaurant and bar ....friendly and attentive..great stay all round woukd highly recommended.

Will never stay or visit...
Disliked: Stayed at this hotel in February and have had the WORST experience with them. Please be careful when CHECKING OUT!!!!!Firstly I had booked what was supposed to be a “deluxe room” it was above their pub, on Friday night we had constant loud dance music and on Saturday night people shouting, swearing and being extremely loud. Lots of cars leaving the pub and racing off as well as people smoking directly outside the pub doors which is under the room window. Even with the window closed all you could smell was cigarette smoke.Not a single member of staff to be found in regards to this issue and no one interested in the morning with the problems we had.To top off our lovely experience when we tried to check out the lady covering reception - small blonde Spanish lady - refused to check us out. She would not accept any payment from myself. I even offered her a cash payment as she said nothing was working and she was unable to access our booking - I was able to access the booking and show her the amount owed via emails and she was not interested and refused. I was extremely unhappy to leave without a payment being taken but wasn’t given much choice as she was more interested in serving breakfast to other guests.The worst of it was that I had mentioned to the gentleman on reception the night before that we were checking out early and I wanted to double check that this was ok as I would have payed the night before instead.I had booked through booking.com and had begged her to charge my account when another member of staff was in and able to get the computer up and running.No one charged my card.

Liked: Lovely location, hotel was lovely and the staff were great and friendly.
