Amazing value with superb host.

Liked: Superb location for a walking recce I was doing. Debra, the proprietor, could not do enough to help me. I was short of time, so she allowed an early check in. She was really helpful with local information. Great breakfast with lots of choice.Amazing value for money - I would definitely stay here again!
Disliked: Not really a dislike. My room was on the compact side, but I only used it to shower and sleep in so did the job perfectly.

Liked: Breakfast was incredible and there were so many choices!! Scallops and black pudding for me and eggs royale for him. Such a great surprise!!

Liked: Warm friendly folk and a great welcome. A small happy hotel with a family feel. Felt safe and cared for with any need covered. Excellent breakfast choices at a time to suit. Honesty mini bar in the lounge a lovely touch. There is some car parking but bus stops are very close by and buses very frequent to much of the area, so it was possible to take a train for my journey.
Disliked: Nothing to say….it was absolutely ideal for someone requiring a welcoming comfortable place to stay while visiting friends or family, or exploring the area and great value for money. A variety of good pubs and restaurants within reach offering dining and excellent food.
