Britannia Study Hotel

Very old, soft, squeaky mattress on flat boarding providing no support or comfort. Stained sheets. Spartan room at London prices. Stayed at many chained hotels with more comfort and less cost.

Liked: There were a couple of people at reception that tried to be helpful, I appreciated that.The breakfast was decent enough.
Disliked: The toilet in the room was not flushing properly from the start of my stay, eventually it became blocked and I had to call someone to deal with the issue but even then the flush was very weak had to flush several times.The key to my room lights was not working properly. Eventually, I had to leave a key in there for the duration to keep them on.Lights in the reception and building went off a few times.The worst thing is I have stayed in this hotel twice before, and both times, they would clean every day. This time, I was told that in order to get the room cleaned, I need to request this the day before and they thought it was a good thing this was free of cost.
