Britannia Study Hotel

Very old, soft, squeaky mattress on flat boarding providing no support or comfort. Stained sheets. Spartan room at London prices. Stayed at many chained hotels with more comfort and less cost.

Liked: Excellent location, walking distance to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants within few minutes walking 24hour reception help
Disliked: Nothing not to be liked for the price paid in this location

Liked: Lovely staff, good breakfast and good accessable room
Disliked: Unfortunately the accessibility in and out of the hotel and to the breakfast room is poor. There are sets of steps which could be ramps and although there are stair lifts these don't work when in a wheelchair. The accessable rooms are also on the 2nd floor and there is only one small lift which means they're impossible to access if the lift is out of service.

Liked: Nice clean hotel with friendly staff in a great location.
Disliked: A few little things:1) No mini shower gel and shampoo in the room’s bathroom, 2) No hashbrown or potatoes in the buffet breakfast,3) Creaky bed and noisy blinds that knocked against the window most of the night as it was hot meaning we needed them open. No air con.

Liked: My partner is disabled and they are so happy with the disabled room, they were able to shower by themselves.

Liked: Surprisingly quiet, surprisingly comfortable, the staff were great, the breakfast was excellent the shower was hot. We were very pleased, would stay again.
Disliked: They could have a non dairy milk option in the room for the hot drinks
