Good

Liked: Good size room and modern facilities. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Didn?t sleep that well as the room was very warm (or might have been the memory foam mattress). Also a street light and security light right outside the window meant the room was quite bright inside despite roller blinds, which also affected sleep. Thought that adding some blackout curtains would be helpful for those folks that like a dark sleeping environment.

Passable

Liked: location and staff were excellent.
Disliked: The room felt a little like a teenagers bedroom.. The shower temperature control was either too cold or too hot and the slightest nudge sent it from one extreme to the other.

Liked: Really comfy bed, very clean room, organising a later checkout same morning due to illness was easy with understanding staff. Breakfast was good. Great central location.
Disliked: Reception and corridors a bit tired. Bedroom window level with a courtyard patrolled by security so had to be careful when pulling up blind for more light as the room had soft lighting.

A good hotel for a...

Liked: The room was a good size with enough wardrobe/drawer space for a couple of nights stay. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very powerful. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean, bright and modern throughout. Quite often self service breakfasts are poor but this was very good;the staff kept everything topped up, it was tasty and obviously good quality ingredients. The hotel is In a very central location; easy walking distance from station, shops, pubs and restaurants nearby, a short walk from the famous Lanes, Brighton Pavilion and the seafront.
Disliked: The room had a Nespresso machine which was fine for us, we only drink coffee, but what about tea drinkers?! Also, I have a back problem so always travel with a hot water bottle but was unable to use it as no kettle!Ther was no bedside table on one side of the bed, I moved a chair and used that but not ideal. The shower room had nowhere to put things whilst showering, needed a shelf in the shower cubicle for shampoo etc. Also a hook on back of door to hang pjs/dressing gown/clotheswould be good and another towel rail for the large towels. The towel rail only took the hand towels so we had to put our shower towels over the backs of chairs to dry.

Liked: Room, Very GoodLocation, ExcellentBreakfast, Very Good
Disliked: 1 small point, did not Know what the coffee pods were. So would have preferred a kettle and coffee/ tea sachets.
